《君子好逑1955》剧情简介
故事发生在繁华的大都市纽约，马蒂（欧内斯特·博格宁 Ernest Borgnine 饰）是生活在其中的一名肉店工人，他没有英俊的外貌，没有富裕的身家，唯一有的，是一颗如金子般闪闪发光的善良的内心。在生活中，居住在中下层贫民聚居的街区的马蒂经常受到他人的白眼和歧视，对于这一切，马蒂只能默默忍受。
一次偶然中，马蒂遇见了名为克拉拉（贝琪·布莱尔 Betsy Blair 饰）的女教师，和马蒂一样，克拉拉因为曾经的一段失败的感情而变得自卑又内向，这样的两个人因为相似的境遇而走到了一起。然而，他们之间的鸿沟是巨大的，两人的真爱能否最终跨越这鸿沟，修成正果呢？
